Sustainable Events Driver

Prepares trucks and trailers for deliveries and transports equipment to and from events via truck and enclosed cargo trailer or straight box truck in a timely, safe and courteous manner. Candidate may be required to work early morning, late evenings, weekends and holidays.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Other duties may be assigned and management retains the discretion to add, delete, or change the duties at any time):
•    Transports equipment to event locations for delivery and pickup
•    Consistently completes and maintains pre-trip inspections
•    Performs all job duties in a friendly and courteous manner and adheres to all safety requirements particular to the equipment, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
•    Prompt, reliable customer service
•    Maintains serviceability and appearance of truck, equipment and inventory at all times
•    Properly completes all paperwork associated with equipment transportation, customer interactions and deliveries
•    Maintains regular and predictable attendance
•    Exhibits behaviors that reflect the company core values: Teamwork, Integrity, Tenacity, Compassion & Diversity

•    Loading and unloading of trucks and trailers
•    Customer communication upon deliveries to educate on proper equipment handling, loading and unloading procedures and industry standards
•    While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to work outside in all weather conditions including, but not limited: heat, humidity, cold, snow and rain
•    Other duties as assigned by the Director of Events & Strategic Partnerships

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

•    Ability to understand and follow written and verbal work instruction and safety standards
•    Ability to work alone and with a team in a collaborative environment
•    Ability to properly maintain equipment
•    Ability to properly complete all paperwork
•    Ability to follow timelines
•    Can work early morning, late night, weekend or holidays
•    Is open to learning more about the event sustainability industry, recycling industry
•    Ability to lift 50 pounds
•    Ability to understand and follow written and verbal work instruction and safely
