The Facilities Lead is responsible for keeping the building in a clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties including cleaning floors and removing rubbish. Notify management of need for repairs.
Operate forklift to move and empty chip collection bins
Operate industrial floor cleaning equipment
Daily cleaning activities including sweeping and moping of production area
Gather and empty trash including large rubbish cans into dumpsters
Follow operating procedures for chemicals and cleaning equipment to prevent damage to floors
Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
Monitor building premises to ensure occupant or visitor safety
Follow all MIOSHA safety guidelines
Maintains regular and predictable attendance

Prior related experience in a manufacturing environment
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to become certified in forklift operation
Ability to follow written or verbal instructions
Ability to operate power equipment
Ability to manage one’s own time, and complete projects with little direction from supervisor
Perform physical activities that require use of arms and legs including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
Lifts, moves, or positions materials weighing up to 50lbs.
