The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting traders with contract entry, contract management, and communication with mills and buyers relative to positions. Provides support to Materials Trading Coordinators and assists in the coordination of logistics for the Trading Group.
Develops and creates reports as needed for internal and external customers utilizing Excel and Crystal Reports
Develops and prepares regular reports on the status of contracts
Maintains file management for all contract related documents.
Contract compliance tracking and reporting
Performs data entry and data management within internal systems
Trains with commercial group to develop a base understanding of materials being traded to anticipate individual trading among the group
Performs 3rd party administration tasks as needed
Assists in the coordination of logistics activities including communication of freight rates, management of non-conforming brokerage loads, scheduling loads, and helping customers with PO terms relating to material pick-up and delivery
Required Education and Experience
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
3 years of customer service related experience and/or training
Equivalent combination of education and experience

Ability to work well in group problem solving situations and demonstrate emotional intelligence when dealing with emotional topics and remain open to others’ ideas

Knowledge of basic algebra
Knowledge of RIMAS, Access Database, NovaTime, Microsoft Exel, and Microsoft word software as well as the Anh Busch website
