Account Manager Administrator

A day in the life of a Account Manager Administrator (essential functions):

  • Coordinates and pays all trade payables according to payment terms developed by Account Managers  for the Kalamazoo facilities.
  • Maintains and enters all new accounts into RIMAS and RIMAS Web Portal.
  • Updates RIMAS Market Price entries as they become available.
  • Ensures formula pricing is up-to-date at time material is scaled.
  • Updates customer pricing by entering formulas into RIMAS pricing module on a timely basis for scale operators
  • Distributes weekly pricing report to all Account Managers, and prints, closes, and posts scale receivers once approved.
  • Attaches printed scale receiver to scale ticket and files in open payable drawer for payment.
  • Coordinates with other department’s trade payable associate to facilitate printing and filing of their scale receivers in open payables.
  • Distributes all necessary paperwork to accounts via e-mail or fax as needed within the accounts expectations.
  • Manages open payables filing system for all of the Kalamazoo yard trade payables
  • Work with Account Managers on reporting, pricing and other data needs
  • Processes both the scale receiver and material shipper on loads that are picked up at Schupan accounts but not delivered to a physical Schupan location. (IE: AAR/Millenium)
  • Provides mentoring and training to other administrators as assigned.
  • Completes month end duties according to calendar and notifies Divisional Controller when tasks are complete.
  • Follows ISO procedures as required to ensure continued certification
  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail
  • Demonstrate effective oral and written communication
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Routinely work independently and adapt to frequent delays and unexpected events
  • Ability to solve practical problems

Important Job Details:

  • Full Time
  • 8am-5pm

To get your foot in the door:

  • Associates Degree in Accounting or equivalent from a two year college or university in a related field
  • 3 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experiences
