Business Systems Analyst - IT

Review, analyze and evaluate existing business processes and user needs as they relate to business systems. Work with a variety of stakeholders to define and document business system requirements. Guide the selection of a solution by reviewing potential solutions and securing stakeholder support. Implement the solution, making sure all related information and processes are successfully integrated. Provide ongoing system support, identifying any additional reporting needs and ongoing process improvements needed to optimize and maintain the system.

This position will manage a variety of IT projects beginning with replacement of the ERP system at our Schupan Aluminum and Plastics Sales (SAPS) division.
The Business Systems Analyst will function of a key member of the ERP Implementation Team, facilitating meetings with the system’s stakeholders to develop a comprehensive list of system requirements.
Help to identify possible systems which would fit those needs, then work with the Implementation Team to analyze and identify the best possible solution for the division.
Lead the implementation of the new system, ensuring the project adheres to budget and time frame guidelines and the delivered solution meets the business’ needs. This includes all aspects of project management from tracking, training, communication, and implementation of the solution at all relevant Schupan locations.
Work with other IT department personnel and users to identify continuous improvement ideas, then manage, prioritize and implement those ideas.
Continue to support the system following implementation.
Assist with other projects as assigned.
Must adhere to a flexible schedule to accommodate all shifts.
Education and/or Experience
5+ Years of systems implementation experience or equivalent in the Information Technology field.
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with a preference of an IT related field.
5+ Years of experience with manufacturing and ERP systems.
